Chantilly Cream

Chantilly cream is fresh cream beaten to the consistency of a mousse, sweetened and flavoured with vanilla or other flavours.
It is used as an ingredients of various desserts, including meringues, sundaes, Bavarian creams, charlottes and custards.


INGREDIENTS

500ml whipped cream
100g caster sugar
vanilla extract, a few drops


METHOD


  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until the mixture forms soft peaks.
  2. Cover and place in the fridge immediately.
