Hazelnut Biscuits
This are exquisite crunchy biscuits for hazelnut lovers.
INGREDIENTS
115g margarine or butter
75g icing sugar
115g plain flour
75g ground hazelnut
1 egg yolk
hazelnuts, for garnish
icing sugar, for dusting
METHOD

METHOD
- In a food processor cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the flour, ground hazelnuts and egg yolk until evenly mixed.
- Please the mixture into a board and roll it into the shape of a sausage.
- Cut the sausage into half, then into halves again, and then into three, making sure they are all the same size.
- Press the pastries into circles and place a hazelnut into each of them.
- Bake at 180'c for 10-12 minutes.
